# I like making ideas real.

How I got from a school project to a company running in a real restaurant and a humanoid built to walk a refinery round.

I'm Eitan. I'm 17, I live in Buenos Aires, and I'm finishing secondary school.

I started building things because I wanted to use them. Every project on this site began as something missing — a restaurant with no way to track its own orders, a robot with no idea where it was, a Mac that kept falling asleep.

What I've ended up liking most is the part nobody photographs: **the decision you make when two reasonable options point in different directions**, and finding out six weeks later which one you got right.

## How it went (2024 — now)

### 2024 — Pedilo

A school project for ordering at a restaurant table. It did not go anywhere, and it is the thing Restoman grew out of.

### 2025 — Águila

A classmate had been running a promotions site alone for months without traction. We rebuilt it properly — I wrote the code, he sold — and reached ten paying restaurants. When the group decided to close it, we refunded all ten.

### 2025 — Restoman starts

Back to the restaurant problem, this time seriously: a platform for orders, tables, kitchen and checkout. Four of us, none full-time, all still in school.

### March 2026 — Gemm, and a robot

Research on Unitree robots — a Go2 quadruped first, then a G1 humanoid. I took the backend and the perception work: our own SLAM instead of the manufacturer’s, so we could reason about how the map was built.

### July 2026 — Awake

A weekend of wanting my Mac to stop sleeping turned into a macOS app with a privileged daemon, a CLI and a code-signing rabbit hole. Open source, and the first thing I shipped for strangers.

### September 2026 — Restoman goes live

First venue running it, in their service, with their staff. They are not paying yet — we are testing. It is the only line on this page I could not have written a month earlier.

### December 2026 — Finishing secondary school

All of the above happened alongside it, which is the part that took the most planning.

## What I care about

### Shipping over describing

A thing that runs for someone who is not me beats a very good explanation of a thing that does not.

### Working end to end

The interesting problems are almost never inside one layer. They live where two of them meet, and you only see them if you own both.

### Writing decisions down

I keep a record of the calls I made and the alternatives I turned down. It is the only way I can tell later whether I was right or lucky.

### Saying what actually happened

Including the parts that did not work. Águila is on this site for the same reason Restoman is.
